International Youth Convention Choir

Come and take part – in the great choir project of the International Youth Convention 2019! The International Youth Convention of the New Apostolic Church is taking place from Thursday, 30th May to Sunday, 2nd June 2019. The highlight will be the divine service with Chief Apostle Jean-Luc Schneider on Sunday, 2nd June in the Düsseldorf Arena. The youth, youth choir leaders and youth delegates can all take part to sing together in the very large International Youth Convention Choir. With about 4,000 singers, you can sing in both, the divine service and the pop oratorio "I AM" in the arena. The registration for singers will start in October 2017

international and ecumenical

The aim is to enable young believers to participate in the music project across borders and this doesn't just mean international borders but also to open up to other Christian communities. The project team therefore invites larger choir groups of other denominations or interested parties to participate in the International Youth Convention Choir. The Prerequisites for participation are the same for all choir singers.

only young christians aged between 14 to 35 can participate in the International Youth Convention Choir. along with the confirmands in the years 2019 and 2020 as well as all youth representatives and youth choirmasters of the New Apostolic Church are invited to participate.

to ensure a successful performance in the arena, the following requirements must be met:

  • Attendance of one central rehearsal weekend
  • attendance of a least two regional rehearsals
  • attendance of the international youth convention 2019 (an additional registration on www.ijt2019.org and the payment of the required amount of 125 euros is required)
  • attendance of the POP oratorium "I AM" on Friday evening and the Divine service on Sunday

Choir singers, multipliers, helps and host families can register via the registration system of the International youth convention.
Participating in this project requires an to the international youth day 2019 of the New Apostolic Church. This registration can be completed on the following website www.ijt2019.org. To register for the youth day the amount of 125 euros per person also becomes payable .
